Numerous winemakers are blending two of California’s greatest treasure’s—weed and wine. The recipe for “pot wine” as it’s known consists of consists of sinking one pound of marijuana into a cask of fermenting wine, which produces about 1.5 grams of pot per bottle. The more potent the materials, the better the wine.

The fermentation process converts the sugar found in grapes to alcohol, and the alcohol extracts the THC in the marijuana. For obvious reasons, the enhanced wine has become a smash hit from coast to coast.

Soft drink manufacturer, based in Chicago called Dixie Elixirs is preparing a line of marijuana-laced sodas for sale in 14 states, which legalized the medical use of marijuana for licensed users only.

The sodas will come in 12-ounce glass bottles and are available in seven flavors: lemonade, sweet tea, pink lemonade, strawberry, orange, grape, and root beer. But those of you who need–erm–an extra-strength formula, might prefer the extra-strength watermelon and spearmint, which come in single-ounce bottles, kind of like the 5 Hour Energy Drink.

Oh, and in case you were wondering, the company assures its customers that all sodas are made with the finest, Colorado grown cannabis available. Happy drinking?
