#Beercamp Ostbevern,Germany Style

For decades now beercampers in the know, have had Ostbevern, Germany on their itinerary, located on the plains of the Lower Rhine with relative low-lying terrain the area is perfect for long stumbles across the country side. After a busy day of consumption bleary travelers can lay their heads to rest in a bed carved out of a 19th century historic beer barrel at the Landhotel Beverland. The barrel comes from Pott’s, a local brewery, and was in use until 1995.

There are three beer barrel-themed rooms in the hotel, and while each room sleeps four, only one of the beds is a barrel, which can be used as a single or double bed.  The room also has a 32-inch flat screen TV, DVD player, and free internet. For just 20 Euros hotel staff will serve you breakfast in bed—er, barrel. And if that wasn’t enough barrel for you, there is also a beer barrel sauna on the property that seats 12 people. Guests can use the sauna for 10 Euros, provided they don’t mind the smell of hops.

Dawg Grog a beer for Man’s best freind

doggrog-thumb-560x373BEND, Ore. – Nothing beats drinking with your best friend, Daniel Keeton has a dog named Lola Jane, he loves his dog, his dog loves beer, he also loves  beer and pours it up daily at the Boneyard Brewery’s tasting room. All that came together when, Keeton decided to make Lola her own doggie brew. Imagine if his dog was named Mary Jane.

“She’s never walked away from it,” Keeton said Sunday. In fact, she usually licks the bowl clean.

After Keeton saw how much Lola liked his concoction, he decided to market it to other dog lovers and launched his company, Dawg Grog, in July. His first retail customer, Visit Bend, signed on in December.

“Two things that have become part of the Bend lifestyle are beer and dogs,” said Visit Bend CEO, Doug LaPlaca. “So to create something that would take advantage of the two we thought was a brilliant idea.” The 16 ounce bottles of Dawg Grog sit for sale near 22’s of local beers at Visit Bend.

Peanut Butter Cannabis Smoothie

Cannabinoids can prevent cancer, reduce heart attacks by 66% and insulin dependent diabetes by 58%. Cannabis clinician Dr. William Courtney recommends drinking 4 – 8 ounces of raw flower and leaf juice from any Hemp plant, 5 mg of Cannabidiol (CBD) per kg of body weight, a salad of Hemp seed sprouts and 50 mg of THC taken in 5 daily doses.

Cannabis – whether Sativa, Indica, Ruderalis, male, female, hermaphrodite, wild, bred for fiber, seeds or medicinal resin – is a vegetable with every dietary essential we can’t synthesize: Essential Amino Acids, Essential Fatty Acids, Essential Cannabinoid acids and hundreds of anti-Cancer compounds.

Cannabis clinician Dr. William Courtney recommends drinking 4 – 8 ounces of bud and leaf juice of any Hemp plant, 5 mg of CBD per kg of body weight, a salad of Hemp seed sprouts and 50 mg of THC daily, divided into 5 doses with an Arachadonic acid source, such as Hemp seed oil.

“If you heat the plant, you will decarboxylate THC-acid and you will get high, you”ll get your 10 mg. If you don’t heat it, you can go up to five or six hundred milligrams & use it as a Dietary Cannabis. . . and push it up to the Anti-oxidant and Neuro-protective levels which come into play at hundreds of milligrams,” stated Dr. William Courtney.
