I have been modifying this recipe for year’s, the secret ingredient that everyone always asked ‘what’s in this?” is the cocoa until now, it’s the Lusty Monk babe!  Let’s avoid the debate about meat chili vs bean chili and just call this got dang good and eat!

Popa’s Favorite Chilichili

Ingredients:
2 – 3 lb ground beef
2 (15 ounce) cans black beans, rinsed and drained
2 (15 ounce) cans pinto beans, rinsed and drained
2 (15 ounce) cans corn, rinsed and drained
1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chiles, undrained
3 cans Tomatoes
1 jalapeno chile pepper, seeded and finely chopped (optional)
1 red bell pepper – cored, seeded and finely chopped
1 green bell pepper – cored, seeded and finely chopped
1 small red onion, finely chopped
1 lg onion chopped
1 bunch cilantro leaves, finely chopped
2 chopped garlic cloves
olive oil to brown meat and onions
1 tbs Worcestershire Sauce, cocoa, ground cumin
1-1/2 tbs chili powder
2-1/2 tbs Lusty Monk ‘Burn In Hell’
Directions:
Brown ground beef in oil. Add onion and cook until it turns clear. Add remaining ingredients except kidney beans and simmer 1 hour covered. Add kidney beans and cook 1 additional hour uncovered.
